Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic said today that traffic on the Nis-Dimitrovgrad highway near Pirot, which was temporarily suspended due to ammonia leakage from a derailed wagon, will be re-established today from 3 pm.

Vesic made a decision allowing the operation of traffic on the highway on the Nis-Dimitrovgrad section after the Operational Staff for Protection and Rescue from Technical-Technological Accidents concluded earlier today that the conditions have been created for traffic to be re-established.
Traffic on that section was closed on 25 December due to an accident of ammonia spilling from an overturned tank wagon near the place Stanicenje near Pirot.
