Stable heating supply throughout Serbia

The Serbian Ministry of Energy and Mining stated today that all the towns and cities in Serbia have a secured uninterrupted central heating supply for all apartments and households connected to district heating transmission systems.
The ministry pointed out that there is no reason for the situation to change in the upcoming period, since all the conditions necessary have been provided for uninterrupted operation of city heating plants.
The Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) has provided the necessary conditions and the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS) the necessary amounts of oil derivatives and heavy fuel oil for stable heating supply, reads the statement from the ministry. The ministry is in constant contact with representatives of the Russian gas company Gazprom, negotiating the possibility of procuring additional amounts of natural gas, concludes the statement.
