Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic met today with a delegation of the Kingdom of Norway, led by Deputy Minister of Energy and Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of Norway, Andreas Bjelland Eriksen.
The meeting focused on the deepening of cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy, Norway's experiences in the energy transition, and opportunities for Norwegian energy companies to invest in Serbia.
Djedovic said that strategic plans are being prepared in order to increase the participation of renewable energy sources and get closer to the goals of the Green Agenda.
Eriksen said that Norwegian companies are interested in cooperation with Serbia in the field of renewable energy sources, and said that the Nordic model of cooperation can serve as a good example for energy cooperation in the Western Balkans.
Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Serbia Jorn Eugen Gjelstad also attended the meeting.
