The National Security Council will include the Serbian Prime Minister, Serbian President, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister, Serbian parliament speaker, Serbian Ministers of Interior and Justice, Serbia-Montenegrin Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense, Director of the Security and Intelligence Agency (BIA), Head of the Serbia-Montenegrin Army General Staff and other military executives, and the research and filing service (SID) of the Serbia-Montenegrin Foreign Ministry.
The Serbian President and Prime Minister will jointly call the Council into session and propose agenda, and will take turns in chairing the sessions.
The government also adopted today a Bill on accounting and auditing.
At the session, it determined the programme of measures for stimulating agricultural development in 2006, adopted a Decree on the programme of construction, reconstruction and maintenance of water resources, and a Decree on announcing a job competition for vacancies in state organs.
The government adopted amendments to the Law on Excise Stamps, increasing the excise on oil derivatives, that is petrol and diesel fuel by 0.30 dinars per litre.
The government decided to form a working group on coordination and control of the implementation of the contract on providing consultancy services to the Serbian oil industry NIS.
The government agreed with proposed amendments to the articles of association of the Serbian Pension and Disability Insurance Fund regarding the insurance of farmers.
It also adopted the Information on a donation by the European Agency for Reconstruction for the purpose of financing the company privatisation and restructuring support programme.
The government also adopted the Information on the Memorandum of Understanding between the Serbian and Norwegian governments regarding the implementation of the Norwegian annual aid programme for Serbia in 2005 and 2006. It also adopted the programme of distribution of subsidies to public non-financial companies and organisations in the mining sector for the year 2006.
