At today's session, the government of the Republic of Serbia extended the decision on the temporary ban on the export of Euro diesel EN 590 until 31 October, with the aim of preventing possible damage to the economy and citizens.
The Republic of Serbia has a sufficient amount of this type of diesel fuel and the export ban is an additional measure to protect consumers and the market.
The government of Serbia adopted the Conclusion on the adoption of the Programme on the distribution and use of subsidies to support the work of domestic freight carriers in road traffic due to the damage to their business caused by the war in Ukraine.
Subsidies are intended for domestic companies that are the owners and drivers of trucks and own only those trucks for work and cargo transportation, which were destroyed or confiscated in the territory of Ukraine.
Subsidies are not intended for large companies that own a large number of trucks.
Bearing in mind the necessity of the functioning of freight transport, both in domestic and international traffic, as an important economic branch, it is necessary to provide means to preserve economic activity in this area and the work of economic entities whose operations, as a result of the war in Ukraine, suffered exceptional losses and called into question the continuity of operations of domestic carriers in this area of the economy.
The government also made a decision to award monetary awards in the amount of €20,000 (in RSD equivalent) to the athlete Petar Milenkovic and his coach Vladan Milidragovic for winning the gold medal at the European Championship in the Paralympic sports discipline – powerlifting held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
