Minister of the Interior Aleksandar Vulin and Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Chen Bo signed an agreement today by which the People's Republic of China will donate the 112 system to Serbia, which is worth €25.6 million and will significantly improve efficiency and speed up the response of emergency services in Serbia.

On that occasion, Vulin pointed out that the signed agreement will enable the introduction of the Serbian national system, the unique Serbian number 112, which will unite all our services that help people when they need help, shorten the speed of response in those situations and enable more precise determination of the location from which the call was made.
This is the largest single donation to the Interior Ministry from the People's Republic of China, he pointed out and expressed his gratitude to the People's Republic of China for the donation that will contribute to making the citizens of Serbia even safer and more secure.
Chen Bo explained that according to this agreement, the Chinese side will provide assistance to establish a complete, modern national emergency response system in Serbia.
