Minister of Economy Andjelka Atanaskovic and Minister of Trade and Business Promotion of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea Pastor Micha Ondó Bile discussed today the possibilities for improving economic cooperation between the two countries.
Atanaskovic emphasised that there are significant potentials for cooperation in many areas, especially in agriculture, food industry, construction, as well as in other areas of mutual interest.
Serbia and Equatorial Guinea have good political relations and we should do everything to reflect this on economic cooperation, she said, adding that it would be important to connect our business communities and plan to hold a business forum in the coming period.
The Minister expressed her gratitude for the principled position that country takes on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.
Bile pointed out that Serbia is an important partner of Equatorial Guinea, and said that he expects the significant agreements that were signed in the previous period to be materialised.
The officials agreed that good bilateral relations can make an additional contribution on the economic front and that it is necessary to intensify the contacts between the businessmen of the two countries.
