The realisation of this programme, through support for new investments, will enable the recovery and development of economies entities in the conditions during and after the coronavirus pandemic, the preservation of employment, the encouragement of economic development on the principles of sustainable development and the improvement of competitiveness through investment in digitalisation and application of new technologies.
Businesses that are eligible to apply for funds from this investment programme are those that have less than 250 full-time employees, as well as businesses of middle market capitalisation or “Mid Cap” with a minimum of 250 and a maximum of 3,000 full-time employees, privately owned or a cooperative, and which are registered in the Business Registers Agency and other relevant registers.
Funds for the realisation of the Programme have been secured from the credit line of the European Investment Bank and from the funds of the Serbian Development Fund.
The government adopted the Conclusion allowing the export of mercantile wheat and mercantile corn to legal entities that export these products to the Republic of Albania, based on agreements concluded before the entry into force of the Decision on temporary ban on export of basic agricultural food products important for the population.
This Conclusion, which allows for the realisation of the earlier agreed business arrangements, aims at securing food security in Serbia on the one hand and respecting the need for regional cooperation and solidarity on the other, as a basis for a future mutual linking and joint economic growth.
The government adopted the Conclusion on giving consent for the Serbian Commodity Reserves Directorate to make an exchange in kind of mercantile corn for seed wheat of local NS varieties, harvested in 2022.
The government also adopted the decisions on awarding cash prizes to Ivana Vuleta for gold medal at the World Indoor Championships in the Olympic sports discipline – athletics, long jump, held in Belgrade on 18-20 March this year, in the amount of €30,000 in dinar countervalue. The same amount will go to her coach Goran Obradovic.
Athlete Laslo Suranji will receive €20,000 for gold medal at the European Championship in the Olympic sports discipline – shooting, held in Norway on 14-19 March 2022. His coach Dragan Markovic will receive the same amount.
