At today's session, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Decree on limiting the price of basic foodstuffs in order to further protect the market and protect consumers who belong to poorer social categories.

Prices of basic foodstuffs will not increase in next 90 days

The decree, which will be applied for a period of 90 days, limits the producer prices and the prices in the wholesale and retail trade of the listed groceries, so that they do not exceed the price level of those products on 15 November 2021.
The government adopted the Waste Management Programme in the Republic of Serbia for the period 2022-2031. The programme envisages the adoption of the Action Plan for the period from 2022 to 2024 in the coming period.
Bearing in mind that the financial support to the tourist economy in the past period had positive effects on the development and improvement of Serbian tourism, the Decree on the conditions and manner of granting credit funds to encourage the quality of the tourist offer was adopted.
Members of the Government adopted the Decree on determining the Programme for financing projects of public interest implemented by associations from the territory of extremely underdeveloped municipalities (local self-government units from the fourth group) in 2022.
In order to implement this programme, the Government has allocated RSD 15,000,000 for projects in the field of employment, culture, security, environment, health, gender equality and social issues.
In order to provide institutional support and strengthen the capacity of regional institutions in the context of implementing regional policy, the session also adopted the Decree on establishing the Programme of Support to Accredited Regional Development Agencies in 2022.
The government made the decision on the formation of the National Committee for Aviation Security.
