Minister of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Darija Kisic Tepavcevic talked today in Dubai with Minister of Human Resources and Emirates of the United Arab Emirates Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al Awar about strengthening cooperation between two ministries in areas of common interest.

Intensifying cooperation between Serbia, UAE in field of employment

The officials agreed that there is interest in concluding an agreement on temporary employment between the two countries, bearing in mind that, according to estimates, more than 10,000 Serbian citizens live and work in the UAE.
Al Awar pointed out that this agreement will provide greater security for workers, and the new UAE labour law will increase the standard of protection of workers, reduce the possibility of abuse by employers, and information on vacancies will be more accessible and transparent.
