Government approves plan for political resolution of situation in Kosovo-Metohija

The Serbian government approved today a Plan for political resolution of the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, and a Bill on changes and amendments to the Law on possessory lien over registered non-fixed assets, and a Bill on changes and amendments to the Law on financial leasing.
Three decrees were also adopted at today's session: on establishing a programme of protection and improvement of forests in 2004, on establishing a programme of construction, reconstruction and maintenance of water facilities in 2004, and on using funds for improving exports of agricultural and food products in 2004.
The government also adopted changes to the decision on special tariffs for the import of agricultural and food products.
A decision on changing bases for calculation of salaries of officials and employees in courts, public prosecutor's offices, the Serbian Public Attorney's Office and magistrate's courts in 2004 was also adopted.
The Serbian government appointed Sasa Stojanovic as assistant minister of energy and mining. Presidents of the districts of Serbia were appointed at today's session.
