Ministry of Justice, EAR improve cooperation

Serbian State Secretary for the Ministry of Justice Branislav Bjelica and Head of the Operational Centre of the European Agency for Reconstruction (EAR) in Belgrade Daniel Giuglaris talked today about the further improvement of present day cooperation between the two bodies.
The Ministry of Justice has issued a statement that says that an agreement has been reached with EAR representatives concerning priority projects for 2006, which are connected to the implementation of the national strategy for reforming the judiciary.
The projects envisage the opening of workshops for the reform of young offenders of a correctional centre in Krusevac, as well as the modernisation of security systems in the closed unit of the penal-correctional institute in Pozarevac and the District Prison in Belgrade, the statement reads.
