First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Branko Ruzic talked today with Minister of Education of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi.
The two ministers agreed concretisation of the Memorandum of understanding in the field of higher education and science, signed in 2018, through further linking of the institutions of higher education and institutes of science, and the signing of memorandums of understanding in the field of pre-university education, which would entail, first and foremost, exchange of students of elementary and secondary schools.
In this way they will learn more about each other, their cultures, history and customs and will contribute to the overall development of relations of the two countries, Ruzic said.
The memorandums are expected to be signed in Dubai in December when the area of “Knowledge and Learning” will be presented at Expo 2020 Dubai, according to a statement from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development.
