First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Branko Ruzic spoke today with Minister of Education and Science of North Macedonia Mila Carovska about improving the scientific and educational cooperation and the education of national minorities.

Ruzic said that it is in the interest of both countries to have joint participation with strategic projects before EU programmes such as Horizon, Erasmus and similar.
According to him, our chance are also regional initiatives which we can design and launch on our own, in order to make our region more attractive for research.
Carovska highlighted the importance of digitalisation through which the educational systems of our two countries are going and agreed that the programmes of European funds are important for both North Macedonia and Serbia.
She underlined that there is room for the improvement of educational and scientific cooperation, noting that the two ministries are already working on a new programme of cooperation for the coming period.
