Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojsa Stefanovic and German Ambassador to Serbia Thomas Schieb signed today the Agreement on cooperation in the field of defence between the two countries.

Stefanovic pointed out that the implementation of the agreement will open opportunities for improving cooperation between the ministries of defence and the armed forces of the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Republic of Germany in areas of mutual interest.
Given that Germany is one of the largest bilateral donors and trade partners of our country, he voiced hope that cooperation in the field of defence will be developing in the coming period, following the overall bilateral relations.
Schieb stated that the basis of the already good existing cooperation between Germany and Serbia will be additionally strengthened by this agreement.
