Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlovic talked today with Minister of Capital Investments of Montenegro Mladen Bojanic about cooperation between the two countries in the mining and energy sectors.
Mihajlovic stated that they discussed new potential projects and economic regional cooperation, bilateral cooperation in the high-voltage network as well as the construction of the Trans-Balkan Corridor, which Serbia has begun.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that an agreement had been reached on the formation of operational teams, from which the citizens of both countries would benefit.
Bojanic expressed satisfaction with the fact that one of the first official meetings in the region is in Belgrade, because Montenegro is mostly focused on Serbia in economic cooperation.
After the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the field of energy and mining was signed between the two ministries.
