Mihajlovic stated that the ministry has prepared a new legal framework in the field of energy, which includes a new law on renewable energy sources, noting that the document is currently in the process of adoption.
We want to create a favourable environment for new investments in the use of renewable energy sources, including solar energy, the Deputy Prime Minister pointed out, expressing satisfaction with the fact that more and more companies are interested in investing in Serbia.
Representatives of this American company, led by its founder and president Robert Berman, presented some of the most significant investments of "UGT Renewables" in the world and proposals for cooperation on possible projects in Serbia in the field of solar energy.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Serbia to the USA Marko Djuric and Ambassador of the USA to Serbia Anthony Godfrey.
