Serbian Ministry of Health said that an expert gathering addressing the reduction in consumption of pharmaceuticals took place today at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. The gathering was organised by the European Agency for Reconstruction, Serbian Ministry of Health and Crown Agents.
The report said that the data had been collected and the analysis of pharmaceutical consumption done against defined indicators with the help of the staff from 37 hospitals involved in the project.
This expert gathering was attended by Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic, European Agency for Reconstruction’s representative Mathias Reinke, professor Slobodan Jankovic from the Kragujevac Clinical Centre, Moira Kinnear from the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh, and Crown Agents’ representative Branka Stojanovic.
Reduction of pharmaceutical consumption and improvement of medicinal management in the health sector has been a part of the project themed “Technical help for the improvement of medicinal management in Serbia”, coordinated by the European Agency for Reconstruction and implemented by Crown Agents.
