Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojsa Stefanovic visited today members of the Serbian Army who provide assistance to the endangered population in eliminating the consequences of floods in Leskovac, Vlasotince, Zitoradja, Bobiste and Bogojevce and in the village of Turekovac.

Stefanovic pointed out that the President of the Republic gave the order for the army to be with the citizens day and night, and said that its members would be on the ground wherever it is necessary to provide the necessary assistance.
While visiting members of the army in the village of Turekovac and the settlement of Bogojevce, he expressed satisfaction with the good cooperation between the army, local self-government and the population, so that at this moment there is no immediate danger.
More than 60 members of the Third Training Centre of the Training Command from Leskovac and the 310th Engineering Battalion of the Third Brigade of the Land Army are engaged in the three mentioned municipalities to provide assistance to the population and eliminate the consequences of floods.
