The Serbian government stated today that all citizens of Serbia who have a permanent or temporary residence in the Federal Republic of Germany and are spending New Year's and Christmas holidays in Serbia will be required to have a negative PCR test or a negative antigen rapid test not older than 48 hours issued by a reference laboratory in Serbia before returning to Germany.

In case they do not possess such a test, they will not be allowed to enter Germany.
This measure equally applies to the land and air traffic, which means that at the airports upon the check-in of passengers and at land border crossings upon exiting Serbia, the passengers will be requested to present the result of a certified PCR test or antigen rapid test not older than 48 hours.
This measure applies only to citizens returning to the Federal Republic of Germany.
