On that occasion, Mihajlovic pointed out that mining and energy are of great importance for further economic growth in Serbia and can play an important role in increasing GDP.
Accordingly, she welcomed the signing of the Declaration on a Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, as the goal is to make this sector green.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that, especially when it comes to energy efficiency, it is important to harmonise the legal framework with EU regulations and to establish a sustainable way of financing this area.
In addition, as she stated, energy security and ensuring diversification of routes and security of supply sources are key for Serbia.
