Labus also pointed out the advantages of duty-free exports to the EU and Russia as well as two more elements that bring comparative advantages to Serbia – its high-quality workforce and encouraging tax policies.
Kim pointed to a similarity between the two countries, which both had to rebuild their industrial capacities and infrastructure after wars.
Kim also said that KITA members are very interested in investing in Serbia and he expressed the hope that Serbia will become an EU member as quickly as possible.
Also attending the meeting were the newly appointed South Korean Ambassador to Serbia-Montenegro, Kim Young-Hi, and Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) Director Jasna Matic.
