The Serbian government adopted today a Declaration on support to activities of the President of the Republic of Serbia related to the talks with representatives of the interim institutions of self-government in Pristina.
With this Declaration, the government supports the activities of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in the upcoming talks between Belgrade and Pristina to be held on 3-4 September in Washington, under the auspices of Special Envoy of the US President for the talks between Belgrade and Pristina Richard Grenell.
Members of the government have taken a unique stance that the activities of the President to date are directed in the best way towards the protection of interests of the Republic of Serbia in Kosovo-Metohija, and that the upcoming talks are expected to produce progress regarding open economic issues, which will bring prosperity to citizens and the economy of society as a whole.
The government today approved additional funds in the amount of RSD 150 million for the payment of costs of travelling to and from work for the employees hired by health centres in Serbia during the state of emergency caused by the coronavirus epidemic.
