Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin attended today the farewell of members of the Serbian Army to the multinational operation UNIFIL in Lebanon, from the "Constantine the Great" Airport in Nis.

On that occasion, Vulin pointed out that a contingent of 142 members of the Serbian Army will be engaged in that United Nations peacekeeping mission for the next six months.
All soldiers of the Serbian Army who participate in peacekeeping operations have undergone very demanding training and have been rigorously selected, he pointed out and said that the Serbian Army is an ally of peace and anyone who wants peace.
