List for Sandzak joins ruling coalition

The List for Sandzak coalition signed an agreement today to join the coalition agreement between the Democratic Party of Serbia, the G17 Plus, the Serbian Renewal Movement, and New Serbia.
The agreement was concluded in accordance with shared commitments to fast integration of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro into the European Union, the strengthening of local self-government, the even-handed economic development in the country, the respect of human rights and the rights of minorities and their participation in institutions.
The agreement was signed by Democratic Party of Serbia President Vojislav Kostunica and the leader of the Sandzak coalition Sulejman Ugljanin.
The List for Sandzak will have three deputy ministers, at the ministries of education and sport, state administration and local self-government, and capital investment.
Also, the coalition’s MP Bajram Omeragic will be appointed to the Serbian government’s Council for European Integration.
