Milan Parivodic
The HSBC representatives described Serbia as an emerging market, reads a statement from the ministry, adding that they have arrived in Belgrade to get acquainted with the announced tender for a privatisation adviser in the sale of state oil company NIS.
During the meeting, the HSBC representatives informed Parivodic about their experience in investment banking and in the privatisations of national oil refineries, such as those of Croatian INA, Hungarian MOL, and Romanian Petrom. They also expressed interest in the fields of energy and telecommunications.
Parivodic presented Serbia’s strategy to attract foreign investment and measures the government is taking in order to implement and improve the strategy.
