At a session today, the government adopted a bill on the public debt of the Republic of Serbia after taking over liabilities of the fund for pension and disability insurance of farmers.
The government also adopted a bill on investment funds as well as a bill on changes and amendments to the Law on criminal procedure.
Also as part of the session, the government adopted the Decree on changes and amendments of the Decree on oil imports and processing, allowing for free imports of “euro” diesel. The decree will ensure sufficient supply of diesel fuel of a European quality as well as create conditions for the unimpeded functioning of domestic oil refineries.
The government also approved imports of 80,000 tonnes of diesel D-2 and 10,000 tonnes of “euro” diesel.
The government adopted a decision on changes to the decision on the number of students enrolled in the first year of studies in the Belgrade Police Academy for the school year 2005-2006. 130 students will enrol in the first year of studies in the Belgrade Police Academy.
The government passed a decision on agreeing with the decision on the establishing of the Radio-Television system “Treci kanal” and the radio station “Muzicki radio 101.”
The government adopted the Information on the current issues concerning the Succession Agreement and adopted a Decision on the establishing of a working group for proposing measures concerning property usage belonging to ex-Yugoslavian republics.
The government also adopted a decision on the use of 15 million dinars from the budget, for financing the reconstruction of the “Pionir” sports centre in Belgrade, as part of the preparation for the European Basketball Championships in 2005 and 590,000 dinars to the Special Olympics in Serbia-Montenegro for covering part of the expenses for the European Basketball Championships.
The government also adopted a decision on the use of 10 million dinars from the budget, for financing the project “Art in Serbia from 1989-2000.”
