Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica condemned in the harshest terms the attack on the leader of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians Jozef Kasa and said that those who threw a bomb on Kasa's family house committed a crime not only against the leader of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians, but against the state as well.

For that reason, the Serbian state will take all necessary measures in the shortest time possible to bring before justice and punish the perpetrators of this mindless act, reads the statement from the Prime Minister's Cabinet.
The Serbian government will provide full safety to all citizens of Serbia and will vigorously prevent all attacks on persons belonging to national minorities, it is said in the statement.
