Serbian Assistant Minister of Health Sinisa Gradinac today visited the Sombor health centre, marking the launch of the reconstruction of the hospital building, as part of the project for improving the emergency reconstruction of Serbia’s health sector. The project has been funded from a €50 million loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The Sombor hospital investment is worth €2.5 million, from which €1.8 million will be allocated for construction works.
The entire health sector modernisation project includes 19 additional general hospitals across Serbia and the Torlak Immunology and Virology Institute. The aim of the project is for all health institutions to reach certain standards and equal health treatment conditions for all citizens in Serbia.
