As part of today’s session, representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Services reported on the ministry’s activities in the wake of last week’s terrorist attacks in Egypt’s resort Sharm el-Sheikh.
In order to provide assistance to Serbia-Montenegrin citizens in emergency situations, such as the one that happened in Egypt, the Serbian government adopted the Conclusion on setting up an emergency group that will include representatives of the Serbia-Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Serbian ministries of Tourism, Interior, Capital Investment, and Finance, as well as representatives of Serbia’s flag carrier Jat Airways and the Business Association of Serbian and Montenegrin Tourist Agencies (JUTA).
The government also adopted the conclusions on raising the wages of appointed persons at courts, public prosecutor’s offices, the State Public Defender’s office, and magistrate’s courts as of July 2005.
The government decided to form a committee on marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of Nikola Tesla.
The government also approved around 13 million dinars from the Fund for Kosovo-Metohija towards improving working conditions at 17 elementary schools in the province.
The government approved 15 million dinars from the current budget reserve towards joint projects of the municipalities of Bujanovac, Vlasotince, and Bojnik and the European Agency for Reconstruction and Development as well as 15 million dinars towards rebuilding public enterprise SPC Vojvodina in Novi Sad.
Also as part of the session, the government adopted the Information on the 3rd report on the implementation of the Action Plan for the realisation of priorities from the European Partnership and the Information on the implementation of the project titled “Towards More Efficient Implementation of Reforms.”
