The government of the Republic of Serbia today adopted the Programme for simplification of administrative procedures "e-Paper" for the period from 2019 to 2021.
The adoption of the programme is a prerequisite for a comprehensive and systematic public administration reform in the part relating to increasing efficiency in administrative procedures and improving the quality of public service provision for businesses.
The adopted document simplifies and digests the administrative procedure related to the economy, which ensures the safety, transparency and predictability of the business environment and reduces the administrative burden on the economy.
At the meeting, the Action Plan for Implementation of the Strategy for the Prevention and Suppression of Trafficking in Human Beings, in particular Women and Children and Protection of Victims for 2019 and 2020, was adopted.
By adopting this document, the legislation with the acquis communautaire is additionally harmonised, creating the conditions for proactively acting in this field – identifying, protecting victims and sanctioning those responsible for trafficking in human beings.
At the session, the Decision on allocation of funds collected on the grounds of postponement of criminal prosecution was adopted, by which RSD 470 million were distributed to 150 institutions and organisations that participated in their projects at the public competition of the Ministry of Justice, announced in April this year.
