Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met today with Moroccan Minister of Foreign Trade Mustapha Mechahouri. The two officials agreed that the relations between Serbia-Montenegro and Morocco are very good and that there are possibilities to improve economic cooperation.
Kostunica and Mechahouri pointed out that today’s signing of a trade agreement opens possibilities for greater cooperation and they agreed that it is necessary to improve contacts between businesspeople and companies in the two countries.
The talks also covered the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, and Kostunica pointed out that all the issues should be resolved through dialogue and compromise, with the preservation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state union of Serbia and Montenegro.
Mechahouri stressed that Morocco stands for the full abidance of UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and he expressed full support to the preservation of Serbia-Montenegro’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
