During the official reception organised as part of a farewell ceremony for the former President Juan Carlos Varela, Dacic had the opportunity to have informal meetings with a number of high-ranking officials from around the world, including the King of Spain Felipe VI, Vice President of El Salvador Felix Ulloa, US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Minister of Agriculture of China Han Changfu, the foreign ministers of Spain, Chile, Peru and Bolivia, as well as other senior officials from political, economic and cultural life of Panama and the region.
Panama Vice President and Minister of Foreign Isabel de Saint Malo de Alvarado evaluated highly the presence of the delegation of the Republic of Serbia at the ceremony of the inauguration of the new President of Panama, pointing out that this is another confirmation of Serbia's engagement in building friendly relations with Panama with which there is a tradition of good cooperation from the times of the former Yugoslavia.
