Mesarović stated that the meeting also looked at the possibilities for attracting investments from companies operating in Guangzhou, a city with more than 18 million inhabitants, as well as the export of Serbian products to this large and economically strong market.
I discussed these topics with Mayor Zhiyang, with the aim of enabling greater export of Serbian products to the market of this city through active cooperation, but also to encourage the attraction and opening of new production facilities in Serbia by companies that create an industrial environment in such a developed centre in China, Mesarović explained.
The Deputy Prime Minister extended an invitation to the Mayor of Guangzhou to visit Serbia and said that in the coming period, all activities that were precisely defined today will be worked on.
Mesarović also visited the exhibition space of the EHang Holdings company, which manufactures autonomous electric aircraft and drones of various types.
She said that during the talks with representatives of this company, they discussed their participation in EXPO 2027 in Belgrade, with a special focus on their potential investment in Serbia and the opening of a production facility for the needs of the European market.
