Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović participated today in the Foshan Business Forum, which brought together more than 90 companies from the furniture, robotics and automotive sectors with the aim of creating concrete long-term partnerships.

The Business Forum has been organised by the Foshan Nanhai Furniture Industry Association, and Mesarović stated that this industrial system represents one of the most developed production ecosystems in China.
She emphasised that the role of the Association, which connects industry and institutions and coordinates one of the largest furniture production clusters with more than 3,600 companies and more than 300,000 employees, shows how to build a strong, modern and globally competitive industrial model.
It is in such systems that Serbia recognises its natural and long-term partners, the Deputy Prime Minister underlined, adding that Serbia sees this partnership as a framework for technology transfer, the creation of new jobs, export growth and further positioning as a regional logistics and investment centre.
According to her, a special focus is on a new phase of cooperation in the areas of high technologies, the furniture industry, the automotive industry and robotics.
