Great potential for development of cooperation with Bolivia, Costa Rica

Belgrade/Medellin, 28 June 2019

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today on the sidelines of the 49th session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States held in Colombia with ministers of foreign affairs of Bolivia and Costa Rica, Diego Pary Rodriguez and Manuel Ventura Robles respectively.

During his meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia, Dacic expressed his gratitude to this country for its strong support for the principles of international law and territorial integrity of Serbia.

The two interlocutors assessed that the bilateral relations between the two countries are excellent, and noted that the contemporary international scene is burdened with double standards, of which both countries were or are victims.

During the meeting, it was estimated that there is a great potential for the development of bilateral cooperation and that excellent political ties are complemented by excellent economic cooperation.

Also, on that occasion, an agreement was reached on the exchange of high-level visits in the coming period.

During the meeting of the First Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Costa Rica, it was assessed that the level of bilateral cooperation is low and that it is necessary to take steps for its improvement.

They reached an agreement on the exchange of high-level visits in order to intensify bilateral dialogue, and they also exchanged views on the most important events on the international scene.
