Serbia steps up anti-terrorist measures

The Serbian Ministry of Interior said today that it has stepped up anti-terrorist measures on the territory of Serbia after the latest terrorist attacks in London.
According to the statement, security measures have been increased at border crossings, airports, roads, ports, bus and railway stations, buildings of public interest, and busy areas.
Also, the ministry has increased security measures at embassies and diplomatic and consular missions.
In undertaking these anti-terror measures, the ministry is cooperating with other security services in Serbia and the state union of Serbia and Montenegro as well as with the police forces of neighbouring countries, according to the statement.
