The government also adopted a bill on foreign exchange transactions, a bill on veterinary medicine, a bill on changes and amendments to the Law on Broadcasting, and a bill on the abolition of the Law on the Founding of the Socially-owned Enterprise for Research, Production, Processing and Circulation of Oil and Natural Gas.
The government adopted a Decree on the manner and conditions of settling company debts towards shareholders with the money made by selling the shares of a company owned by the Serbian Share Fund.
The government passed a decision on the founding of the public company for transport of oil and oil derivatives, and on the founding of the public company for transport, storage, distribution and trade in natural gas.
The government also passed a decision on establishing the Share fund for research, production, processing, distribution and circulation of oil and oil derivatives and for research and production of natural gas, and decided to give consent to the Statute of the electricity transmission company “Elektromreza Srbije”.
A decision on special terms of sugar export to the EU was also adopted, specifying the terms of exporting Serbian sugar into EU countries within the approved tariff quota of 180,000 tonnes.
The government adopted a bill on harmonising the dinar excise with the retail-price increase rate in October, November, and December 2004 and the first half of 2005. It also adopted a bill on harmonising the dinar excise stamps for cigarettes with the retail-price increase rate in the first half of 2005.
The government established the programme for allocating 155 million dinars in subsidies from the 2005 budget to non-commercial public companies and organisations.
