This holiday will mark the Day of Slavic literacy and culture, which was founded by Slovene enlighteners Cyril and Methodius, the founders of Slavic literature and the creators of the first Slavic script - Glagolitic.
The government also adopted the Bill on the confirmation of the Agreement among the governments of the participating states of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) on cooperation in providing aid in emergency situations and a joint emergency response to the natural and caused disasters.
The government also adopted a decision to set up a Working group for drafting a Law on the Staro Sajmiste memorial centre, which will, above all, enable keeping the memory of the historical facts and will pay tribute to the victims who died in this concentration camp. The adoption of this law will ensure the collection, processing and provision of data on the victims in a single place.
The government adopted the Programme on the allocation and use of subsidy funds for the Agency for Traffic Safety for 2019. The funds in the amount of RSD 66,000,000 will be used for the implementation of a media awareness campaign on traffic safety, to be conducted by the Agency for Traffic Safety.
