First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic led a delegation of our country at the Fourth EUAIR Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Macro-region (EUSAIR), held on 7-8 May in Budva.
After today's meetings in Budva, Dacic stressed that the upcoming joint work needs to concentrate on several key priorities such as infrastructure linking, improving cooperation in the field of tourism, culture, youth exchange.
It is important to include economic and financial components in the priorities of the chairmanship. We will place special emphasis on the cooperation of small and medium-sized enterprises, but also on the cooperation of chambers of commerce in order to improve economic connectivity, increase employment, and reduce the emigration of labour, Dacic stressed.
He added that special attention will be given to strengthening the dialogue with the civil sector, as well as continuing joint activities in the traditional relations of this initiative – environmental protection, cooperation in the field of science and education, and the growth of the Blue Sector.
Serbia takes over the presidency of this initiative on 1 June.
