"Serbia has been deeply shaken by the news of the tragic death of a large number of citizens of the Russian Federation in a fire that caught an Aeroflot plane at Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow.
Thanks to the composedness and high professionalism of the crew of the aircraft and other competent Russian services, many lives have been saved and an even greater tragedy prevented. Serbia is ready to help the fraternal people of Russia in these difficult moments within its possibilities.
The tragedy at Sheremetyevo Airport is an irrecoverable loss for the families of the victims. Please convey the expressions of deepest sympathy on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and on my own behalf”, reads the telegram of condolences of Minister Dacic.
