First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and Foreign Minister of Paraguay Luis Alberto Castiglioni discussed today in Asuncion the promotion of bilateral political dialogue between two traditionally friendly countries.
Dacic, who is on an official visit to Paraguay, and Castiglioni agreed that between the two countries there is potential to improve cooperation in a number of areas, especially in the sphere of the economy.
To that end, an agreement has been reached that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay visit Serbia soon together with an economic delegation in order to make better contacts with our businessmen.
Castiglioni underlined that Paraguay remains firm in its position of non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo-Metohija, and advocates respect for the principles of international law, noting that the doors of Paraguay are closed to Kosovo.
