During a meeting held in Nis, Ljajic and Nikolova agreed to sign an interstate agreement on joint appearance in third markets, with the aim of increasing exports of goods from Serbia and Bulgaria.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the fact that the economic cooperation between Serbia and Bulgaria is getting better and better, since the trade exchange in the previous year exceeded €1 billion and has a tendency of further growth.
In order to further improve the trade exchange, the deputy prime ministers of Serbia and Bulgaria have reached an agreement on holding a business forum of businessmen of the two countries in Sofia this year.
Ljajic pointed out that there is a lot of room for cooperation in the field of tourism, given that Serbia and Bulgaria are neighbouring countries, and in addition to that, the fact that Bulgarian tourists last year were the second most numerous tourists who visited Serbia.
