First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic, as co-chair of the Intergovernmental Committee for Trade, Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Russian Federation, met today with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yuri Borisov, who is a co-chair of the Intergovernmental Committee on the Russian side.

At a meeting held in a narrow format, ahead of tomorrow's 17th plenary session of the Intergovernmental Committee, potentials for cooperation in the fields of energy, industry, transport and infrastructure were evaluated.
Dacic and Borisov also spoke about the current situation in bilateral relations between the two countries, and expressed mutual satisfaction with the growing volume of economic cooperation and the fact that trade exchange exceeded $3 billion in 2018, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
