The interlocutors agreed on the start of negotiations on concluding a free trade agreement between the two countries, which would be the first document of its kind between Serbia and an African country.
Thanks to such an agreement, Serbia would have access to a large African market and our country would become the centre of the Moroccan economy in the region of Southeast Europe.
During his stay in Rabat, Ljajic signed the Intergovernmental Agreement on Economic and Trade Cooperation with Minister of Tourism, Air Traffic, Crafts and Social Economy of Morocco Mohamed Sajid, as well as the Memorandum on Cooperation in the field of tourism.
The Deputy Prime Minister also met with Speaker of the House of Representatives Habib El Malki, Minister of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy Moulay Hafid Elalamy, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita.
