First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today that the Belgrade Tourism Fair is the gateway of Serbia to the world, as well as the doors of the world to come to Serbia.
In a speech at the ceremonial handover of this year’s partner country Bulgaria to Egypt, the country partner of the Tourism Fair 2020, Dacic said that this event brings the diversity of the offer as well as the international character of the exhibitors.
We should not forget a large number of exhibitors from Serbia, who promote our country and its tourist potentials all over the world because Serbia certainly has what to offer, he said.
Serbia attaches great importance to relations with both Bulgaria and Egypt, our traditional friends and partners, but also to all other friends who are present at this year's event, he said.
Tourism is one of the pillars, he said and assessed that tourism is an important link between countries and peoples, but also a significant branch of the economy.
In that sense, as he stated, in the coming period, it is important to make additional efforts in the direction of adequate international presentation and affirmation of Serbian tourist potentials.
Serbia is a country with an open heart, a country of excellent hosts, which always welcomes all guests and I am convinced that this year's Belgrade Fair has once again confirmed this, concluded Dacic.
