Due to the successful financial consolidation and additional funds secured, the government of Serbia adopted a Decree that provides financial support to agricultural producers for the purchase of diesel fuel in the amount of RSD 20 per liter, up to RSD 60 of fuel per hectare, and up to a maximum of 20 hectares of agricultural land.
For this purpose, a total of RSD 1.9 billion was provided. Applications can be submitted to the Treasury Department from 1 March to 31 April 2019.
The government will continue in 2019 with the practice in the development of advisory services in agriculture. By adopting the Decree on the Establishment of an Annual Agricultural Advisory Programme in Agriculture in 2019, agricultural producers will be provided with free information, expert advice, assistance and services in order to increase competitiveness and modernise agricultural production.
In order to provide advice and information to farmers, associations and cooperatives, funds were provided in the amount of RSD 347,000,000.
At today's meeting, the decision was made to form the Digital Organisation Summit of the six economies of the Western Balkans, to be held in Belgrade on 4-5 April.
Serbia, as an active member of the Berlin Process, will confirm the leadership position in the field of digitisation by holding this Summit, not only in the Western Balkans region, but throughout South East Europe.
