First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today Italian Ambassador to Serbia Carlo Lo Cascio.
The two officials agreed that the political relations between the two countries are very stable and developed.
Dacic underlined that a significant jubilee is marked this year – 140 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations and ten years of strategic partnership between the two countries.
He expressed thanks on the continued and unambiguous support of Italy in the process of European integration of Serbia and the Western Balkans and voiced readiness for continuation of cooperation in this area.
It is in Serbia’s interest to continue to improve economic cooperation with Italy, as one of the most developed segments of the overall relations.
Lo Cascio expressed satisfaction with the overall level of bilateral cooperation with Serbia which is at a high level and without outstanding issues.
