The Serbian government adopted today the Bill on the confirmation of the Constitution of the International Civil Defence Organisation, by which Serbia acquires the status of a full member and obtains the possibility of active participation in the meetings of the General Assembly and voting rights in the decision-making process in this international organisation.

Government earmarks RSD 2 bn for treatment of patients with rare diseases

The Government adopted the Regulation on the methodology of public policy management, the analysis of the effects of public policies and regulations and the content of individual public policy documents.
This decree harmonises the process of planning, drafting and adopting regulations and public policy documents at all levels.
The government also adopted two regulations in the field of tourism - on the conditions and method of granting credit funds for stimulating the quality of the tourist offer and on encouraging the improvement of the organised tourist traffic of foreign tourists.
These Regulations determine the conditions and method of granting loans for financing projects for the quality of tourist offer of natural persons and companies in that area, with the aim of increasing the foreign exchange inflow and positioning Serbia as a recognisable and attractive tourist destination.
The government also adopted the Decision to proclaim 2019 as the year of safety and health at work, with the aim of raising public awareness of the importance of this area, bearing in mind the common interest of employers and employees as well as of the entire society.
The government passed a decree earmarking RSD 2 billion in 2019 for the treatment of persons suffering from rare diseases. These funds will be used for medicines intended for the treatment of patients already on therapy with these medications, as well as for medicines for those who start treatment with funds from the state budget.
