First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today, in a meeting with Chief of the General Staff of the Union of the Comoros Yusuf Ijihadi, that the two countries have traditionally friendly relations with a long history.

Dacic expressed his satisfaction over the revitalisation of the relations between the two countries and rerecalled his visit to the Comoros in March 2018, as well as on the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Comoros to Belgrade in November of the same year, when it was agreed to deepen cooperation in all areas of common interest.
Dacic said that he is very happy that the achieved agreements on cooperation are implemented, as evidenced by today's visit to our country of the Chief of the General Staff of the Union of the Comoros.
